Brief
Using elements from the main Bolton English brand kit, create a festival identity to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Walt Whitman’s birth. With Whitman’s strong links to Bolton and a world-wide audience, the festival will contain a multi-phase international conference involving both local heritage and community groups, the university and international academia.
The festival ran for four months with a varied programme of events. Promotional collateral and literature was required to signpost and promote both the festival and each individual event – each with it’s own target audience (academic or public). Posters, event programmes, bags, badges, banners, social posts and an event website were all created.
